One profile, two doors

Every Chefry chef gets two links. One is built for your audience. One is built for ours. Here is what each does, and how to make both work harder.

For your audience

Your bio link

chefry.io/your-name

The clean, short link made for the places you already have followers: your Instagram and TikTok bio, WhatsApp status, Facebook page, flyers, and QR codes at pickup.

  • • Full menu with real checkout: cards, Apple Pay, guest checkout
  • • Booking requests for catering and private chef work
  • • White-label on Pro and Founding accounts, so it is your brand front and center
  • • Live example: chefry.io/just-a-taste

For new customers

Your marketplace page

chefry.io/providers/your-name

Your listing inside the Chefry marketplace. This is the version strangers find: it appears in Chefry search, the chef directory, and your city's landing pages, and it is the page Google indexes.

  • • Listed in Chefry search and your city's pages
  • • Indexed by Google with your menu, prices, location, and reviews marked up
  • • Reviews and ratings build trust with people who have never met you
  • • Same menu, same checkout, same payouts as your bio link

The strategy

Use both, differently

Think of it this way: your bio link brings your audience to your kitchen. Your marketplace page brings strangers. The bio link converts the followers you earn on social media into orders without a 30% delivery-app cut. The marketplace page works while you sleep, showing up when someone nearby searches for what you cook. Every order from either one pays out to the same Stripe account, with 0% commission on menu and plate sales.

Optimize

Make both links work harder

1. Fill the profile that feeds them both

Add menu items with photos and prices, write a bio that names your cuisine and your city ("Cajun soul food catering in Anaheim" beats "good food made with love"), and set your availability. A page with no menu and no bio does not earn a spot in Google's index; a complete one can rank for your cuisine plus your city.

2. Put the bio link where your customers already are

Instagram bio, TikTok bio, WhatsApp status, Facebook page, a QR code at pickup. Label it "Order Direct" so followers know it is a real checkout, not a contact form. If you have your own website, point its order buttons here too.

3. Collect reviews on the marketplace page

After every order, ask the customer to leave a review. Reviews show up in your page's search listing and are the single strongest trust signal for a stranger deciding whether to order.

4. Use Drops to turn followers into pre-orders

A Drop lets people order by a cutoff for a set pickup day, with quantity limits that sell out, and it notifies your followers the moment it goes live. Perfect for weekend menus and limited batches.

5. Tag @chefry when you share your link

We reshare chefs to our followers at no cost, and chefs who tag us get first pick for featured spots on our pages and city guides.

Questions

Common questions

What is the difference between my Chefry bio link and my marketplace page?
They show the same profile through two doors. Your bio link (chefry.io/your-name) is the clean, short URL made for your own audience: Instagram and TikTok bios, WhatsApp, flyers, and QR codes. Your marketplace page (chefry.io/providers/your-name) is your listing inside Chefry: it appears in search, the chef directory, and city pages, and it is the version Google indexes.
Can customers order and book from both links?
Yes. Both links show your menu, photos, reviews, and prices, and both take real orders and booking requests with card, Apple Pay, and guest checkout. You keep 100% of menu and plate sales.
Which Chefry link should I put in my Instagram bio?
The bio link (chefry.io/your-name). It is shorter, built for mobile, and on Pro and Founding accounts it is white-label, so your customers see your brand, not ours.
How do I get my Chefry page to show up on Google?
Complete your profile: add menu items with photos and prices, write a bio that names your cuisine and your city, and collect reviews. Chefry marks your marketplace page up with structured data (menu, prices, location, reviews) and lists it in our sitemap, so a complete profile can rank for searches like your cuisine plus your city.
Do I need my own website if I have a Chefry page?
Your Chefry page can be your website: menu, ordering, booking, reviews, and payouts in one link. If you already have a website, point its order buttons at your Chefry page so visitors can actually check out instead of messaging you.
